Managing supplies
The supplies managed by NDD Orbix are:
Toner: fine powder used in laser printers to form text and images on paper.
Ink Cartridge: cartridge that stores liquid ink based on pigment or dye, used in inkjet printers.
Drum/Photoconductor: a light-sensitive component coated with photoconductive material that reacts to light and toner in laser printers.
Fuser: a component in laser printers that applies heat and pressure to permanently fix the toner to the paper.
Maintenance Kit: a set of parts and supplies designed to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the printer.
Developer: a substance made up of magnetic particles, used in laser printers to load and transfer toner to the photoconductor cylinder.
Belt: thin, flexible belt responsible for transferring toner from the printing units to the paper in color printers.
Once the data has been captured by the DCA and Cloud Connector agent, monitoring of the supplies in the printers begins, enabling the user to use all the intelligence of NDD Orbix to manage replenishment, forecast purchases, analyze indicators, exchanges and premature exchanges.
