Managing print queues

The NDD Orbix portal makes it possible to manage print queues. To do this, you need to: 

  1. Install the DCA and Cloud Connector agent on the computers where the print queues will be used

  2. Enable and configure the print queue service rules

  3. Create the driver for use in the print queue

  4. Create the users, computers groupings and/or users groupings, if they are linked to the print queues

Computers are created automatically when the agent is installed and the service is enabled and configured.

  1. Enable automatic removal of print queues that were not created by the NDD Orbix portal (optional)

  2. Create the print queues

  3. Install the created print queues on computers and users

The print queue will be linked to the computers and/or users added to it and, in the case of a TCP/IP connection, the queue will also be linked to the printer via the address provided when the queue was created.

Create print queue grouping
Remove print queues that were not created by the portal
Create print queue
Install print queue on computers and users
Change print queue driver
View users and devices linked to the print queue
Configure SNMP protocol for the print queue service
