Create user

Creating users is a fundamental process to allow secure and personalized access to the functionalities and resources available on the NDD Orbix portal.

The same user can be created and have access to multiple providers. User permissions must be configured separately for each provider. For information on how to change access between providers, go to Portal menus.

Who can use this feature

Users with the Admin or User management (the users category) permissions

Instructions

  1. Go to Administration > Users

  2. Click on the ✚ button in the top right corner

  3. Enter the user's registration information

The Language field defines the language of the NDD Orbix portal for the user being created. This option can be changed later in two ways:

  • On the login screen, below the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, by clicking on the icon 🌐

  • In the right-hand side menu, under Language

  1. Set the user's permission level, whether they will be an Admin, be added to a permission group or have custom permissions

To understand and determine the user's permission level, go to Manage user permissions.

  1. Click on the Save button to create the user and return to the grid, on the Save and Open button to create the user and open their record, or on the Save and Create button to create the user and remain on the creation screen

The user created will be assigned to the same units as the user who created him. If the user who created it does not belong to any unit, the user created will not either.

Users who do not belong to any unit can view all customers' data.

To change the units of the created user, go to Create units.

To edit or delete a user, go to Edit or delete records.
