Generation of thermal printer supplies indicators

The registration of products on the NDD Orbix portal, combined with the supplies consumption information collected by the DCA and Cloud Connector agent, feeds indicators that help the provider make decisions, with the aim of making the operation more profitable.

In order for all indicators to be calculated correctly, supplies must have information about their capacity.

To understand the importance of each piece of data, see the descriptions below:

Yield

Represents the percentage of supply consumption.

Example:

If a supply has a capacity to print 1,000 meters and has already printed 900 meters, the yield is 90%.

This indicator is essential for monitoring supply usage and assisting the provider in managing supply usage, in addition to enabling billing for waste.

Average yield per day

Displays the average daily consumption of meters (Thermal Paper, Thermal Transfer Paper or Ribbon) or units (Cutter) printed by the printer, allowing the provider to understand the consumption profile of the devices. This information is essential for reallocating printers and predicting the end date of a supply.

Running low by

Calculates when a supply will run out, helping the provider plan replenishment. With this indicator, it is possible to send supplies at the right time, preventing printers from going down.
