Manage thermal printer supply demands
When managing supply demands, it is important to note that, depending on the product management configuration linked to the supply, the NDD Orbix portal will behave as follows:
If the supply is with a forced capacity or forced product: the linked product and its capacity will be taken into account for calculating indicators, disregarding data from thermal printer readings.
If the demand is generated with a forced product and its capacity is less than 1 or greater than 10,000,000, this capacity will be considered invalid. In this case, the indicators will be indeterminate due to the absence of valid information about the supply's capacity.
If the supply has the product prioritized according to demand: the product of the same model, type and color as the last demand linked to the thermal printer will be considered for calculating indicators, disregarding data from printer readings. If there is still no demand linked to the thermal printer, the system will consider the product forced until a demand is finalized.
If the supply and compatibility have been registered manually: when generating demands, if:
- there is a standard product, it will be considered in the demand;
- there is no standard product, the compatible product will be considered in the demand, prioritizing the compatible product that meets the characteristics of the supply.
The supply replacement product can be changed at any time by the user before the demand is finalized, if desired.
For supply alerts and demands to be generated, you need to review the configuration of the rules.
The demand will then follow the following flow:
Automatic generation by the system of supply alerts running low based on the rules configured by the user;
The user requests the orders manually or through the system, depending on the rule configuration;
User monitoring of planned demands, being able to change the product or status of the demand if desired;
Finalization of demands by the user manually or through the system, depending on the rule configuration, or refusal of demands.
Configure rules for demand management of thermal printer supplies
- Create replenishment service rule for thermal printer supplies
- Create thermal printer supply running low alert rule
- Create automatic request rule for thermal printer supply demands
- Create sending e-mail rule when generating a thermal printer supply demand
- Create custom statuses for thermal printer supply demands
- Create automatic completion rule for thermal printer supply demands
