Configure network printer search for the service
The daily search configuration defines the times at which the agent scans for new devices and monitors the addresses configured by unicast or broadcast. By default, the times 09:00, 13:00, and 18:00 will be registered when the service is created, but they can be changed according to the needs of the operation.
In addition to the daily forecast, the search can be started manually at any time. This allows immediate identification of new devices, instant registration and monitoring, as well as synchronization of data from printers already registered.

If a search is already in progress due to the synchronization settings, it will not be possible to start a new search until the current process is complete.
When the search for all printers is complete, the number of devices found will be displayed and the Search for printers button will be reactivated to signal completion.
Clicking the Finish search button will interrupt the printer search. Only printers found up to the moment of interruption will be synchronized.
To ensure complete synchronization, wait for the process to finish automatically.
During the search, you can navigate the portal without interrupting the process.
After any search (scheduled or immediate), the printers found can be viewed in the Supervised network addresses and Supervised printers tabs, according to the network addresses configured.
If a network address is deleted in the Supervised network addresses tab, it will be monitored again if it is still configured in the unicast or broadcast search, has a printer linked to it, and is not blocked. To prevent monitoring, we recommend blocking the address instead of deleting it.
