Configure addresses for searching network printers for the service
Configuring addresses for searching printers defines which devices will be monitored by the service. This configuration can be done by three methods:
Unicast addresses: searches each network address individually within a configured range. Only IPv4 addresses are supported.
Broadcast addresses: searches network addresses simultaneously, according to the configured subnets. Only IPv4 addresses are supported.
Specific network address: searches for a unique network address. Supports IPv4 and IPv6.
After configuration, the agent performs a scheduled or immediate search, registering the printers found and starting their monitoring.

For additions to occur without errors, the addresses must be valid and the final address cannot be less than the initial one.
If an address range is edited or deleted, all printers found so far in the range will be deleted and will no longer be monitored.
Configure broadcast address search
Before manually adding or importing network addresses for broadcast address search, you must enable the configuration.
When enabled, the portal will perform an independent search to automatically locate all printers available on the network. If network addresses are added, the system will perform the search both independently and by the addresses entered.
When you disable it, no further searches will be performed, but the printers found up to the moment of deactivation will remain registered and will continue to be monitored.
Click on the Settings and Printer search tab
Locate the Broadcast addresses option
Enable the configuration
Click on the View and edit button
Click on the โ button in the upper right corner
In Manually add, enter the network address and subnet mask
In Import CSV, upload a CSV file containing the addresses and masks

Save the CSV file and select or drag it to the portal
The maximum file size allowed is 100kb.
Click the Add button to add the addresses and remain on the addition screen, or click the Add and Close button to add the addresses and return to the registration screen
For additions to occur without errors, the addresses and masks must be valid.
If an address or mask is edited or deleted, all printers found up to that point will remain registered and will continue to be monitored.
Configure specific network address search
Click on the Settings and Supervised network addresses tab
Click on the โ button in the upper right corner
In Manually add, enter the specific network address
In Import CSV, upload a CSV file containing the addresses

Click the Add button to add the addresses and remain on the addition screen, or click the Add and Close button to add the addresses and return to the registration screen
For additions to occur without errors, the addresses must be valid.
If an address is blocked, a notification will be displayed. When you confirm the addition, the address will be automatically unblocked and will be monitored again if there is still a printer linked to it.
After confirming the addition, if there is a printer linked to the specific network address, the agent will search immediately, register the device on the portal, and start monitoring.
