View thermal printer inventory

Once the printers have been configured for monitoring and read by the agent, the thermal printers will be available in the inventory.

Who can use this feature

Users with the Admin or View thermal printers (to view only) and/or Edit thermal printers (to change information) permissions

Instructions

  1. Go to the Monitoring > Thermal printers menu

In the grid, in addition to the printer's registration information, you can view the columns:

Status

Indicates the monitoring status of the thermal printer, i.e. whether it is receiving odometer data as configured, being indicated as Online if it is receiving or Offline if it is not.

Currently, a thermal printer will have its monitoring status changed to Offline if it has not sent odometer data for 7 (seven) days or more.

Last odometer

Indicates the last period in which the printer received odometer data.

To view information on a specific printer, click on the name of the desired printer.

Through the tabs, you can view:

Summary

Displays the printer's main information, such as properties and the history of odometer readings.

The date and time of the last reading in the properties data take into account the user's time zone.

Info

It shows the printer's properties and location data.

It also allows you to edit the printer's name and asset.

Odometer

Allows you to view the history of the printer's odometer readings, as well as adding a reading manually.

Moves

Displays the records of movements between customers registered to the printer.

To determine whether a new thermal printer matches an existing printer, the serial number is compared. If the data does not match the existing records, a new printer will be registered.
