Enable computer location in Windows

In order for the computer's location to be collected by the DCA and Cloud Connector agent and sent to the portal, you must ensure that the location services settings are enabled in Windows.

Instructions

  1. Access Windows with an account that has administrative permissions

  2. In Windows, click the Start menu and select Settings

  3. In the left side menu, click Privacy & Security

  4. Under App permissions, click Location

  5. Enable the Location services option

The steps described were carried out in Windows 11.

The computer's location will be displayed in the portal as soon as it is updated, either manually or automatically.
