Error code 8006

Failure

The log from the NDD - Printer Monitor service recorded error code 8006 (FoundHostEventException).

Cause

The service has not found a printer on the network.

Solution

If printer search is enabled by unicast on the NDD Orbix portal, check that the network has unicast enabled.

Also, make sure that the computer on which the DCA and Cloud Connector agent is installed and the printer are on the same network.

If the failure is not resolved using the solutions above, we recommend opening a support ticket for assistance in resolving the problem.
