Fixes

The values of some dashboard indicators were not displayed

How did the problem happen? The values for the Environmental impact, Printed pages and Average pages per printer indicators were not displayed.

When did the problem happen? When processing the generation of indicators for clients with a large volume of data.

Where was the problem? In the indicators Environmental impact, Printed pages and Average pages per printer per printer in the Dashboard menu.

What was done to fix it? We optimized the collection, processing and display of indicators.

Fixes

Impossibility to start the printer search again when there was no communication with the service

How did the problem happen? When the user searched for printers using the Start button and was unable to communicate with the service. Then, when he clicked the Close button to stop the search, it wouldn't update its status and wouldn't allow him to start again.

When did the problem happen? When clicking on the Start button of the printer search.

Where was the problem? In the immediate search for printers from the network printer service (NDD - Printer Monitor).

What was done to fix it? It was corrected so that when the user clicks on the Close button, it allows them to click on the Start button to perform the search again.

Error when opening the printers tab of the network printer service

How did the problem happen? When the user opened the properties of the network printer service (NDD - Printer Monitor) and clicked on the printers tab, a page not found error would appear.

When did the problem happen? When the user was added to a unit or created a new user.

Where was the problem? In the printers tab of the network printer service (NDD - Printer Monitor).

What was done to fix it? Added the implementation of units in the printer monitoring API.

Inconsistency in the monitoring interval - Service: NDD Printer Monitor

How did the problem happen? To set the printer monitoring interval, the service was using the default value of 4 minutes.

When did the problem happen? When starting the service, on the first printer monitoring.

Where was the problem? When monitoring printers.

What was done to fix it? The default value was set to 240 minutes (4 hours) and the order in which this value was obtained was changed, forcing the configuration file to be read.

Observations? It is necessary to update the DCA and Cloud Connector agent to version 1.0.7.


Error when performing liveupdate - Service: NDD Printer Monitor

How did the problem happen? When updating the module, a failure occurred when changing the version in the configuration file.

When did the problem happen? In the validation of module versions.

Where was the problem? In the update module.

What was done to fix it? Changed the component that updates the service version in the configuration file.

Observations? It is necessary to update the DCA and Cloud Connector agent to version 1.0.7.


Error when searching for all printers registered in NDD Orbix - Service: NDD Printer Monitor

How did the problem happen? During scheduled printer monitoring, the service ended the search prematurely, not adding all registered addresses.

When did the problem happen? When performing scheduled monitoring.

Where was the problem? In printer monitoring.

What was done to fix it? The monitoring method was adjusted to ensure a complete search.

Observations? It is necessary to update the DCA and Cloud Connector agent to version 1.0.7.


Inconsistency in liveupdate error messages - Services: NDD Printer Monitor and NDD Printer Monitor USB

How did the problem happen? When there was a problem performing liveupdate on the module, the error information was not displayed in the logs.

When did the problem happen? When there was a failure to update the module.

Where was the problem? In the update module.

What was done to fix it? If a failure occurs, the service will send its version and the error message to the module responsible, so that it can be identified in the logs.

Observations? It is necessary to update the DCA and Cloud Connector agent to version 1.0.7.


Inconsistency in capturing the serial number - Service: NDD Printer Monitor USB

How did the problem happen? When the device did not have the correct value in the default capture location.

When did the problem happen? When capturing the device's serial number.

Where was the problem? In printer monitoring.

What was done to fix it? Added an attempt to capture the serial number specifically. If it doesn't, it will try to capture it generically.

Observations? It is necessary to update the DCA and Cloud Connector agent to version 1.0.7.
