Inconsistencies in the translation of some texts into Spanish

How did the problem happen? In some places of the NDD Orbix portal, inconsistencies in the translation of the text into Spanish were mapped, either with the absence of the translation or with terms that would not be the most appropriate for the context.

When did the problem happen? When changing the display language to Spanish.

Where was the problem? In some menus and submenus of the NDD Orbix portal.

What was done to fix it? Adjusted the texts in these locations to the correct terms.

New features

Customizing alert rule notification email

What is the new functionality? Enable sending the notification e-mail of an alert rule in a customized manner.

What is the benefit of the new functionality? Customize the email notification of the alert rule according to the needs of the provider's operation.

How does the new functionality work? When creating a new alert rule in the Settings > Alert rules menu and selecting the "Notifications" option, you can choose whether to send a default email from the system or a custom email for that rule.

Observations? It is necessary to review the alert rules already registered to change the way the email is sent (whether system default or custom).


Improvements

Addition of permissions related to alerts

What purpose? Define to users and permission groups the permissions related to alerts.

What was done? Implemented a new permission scale for viewing and/or administration of alerts.

What will be affected? In the Administration > Users and Administration > Permission Groups menus, when creating or editing a user or a permission group, it will be possible to choose the permissions that pertain to alerts.

What is the impact on the environment? Necessary to perform the review of permissions granted to users and permission groups to add or remove permissions pertaining to alerts.

Observations? Setting the new permissions:

  • Alerts: by selecting this option, all the permissions below will be granted to the user. Thus, the user will have complete access to all views and actions related to alerts.

    • Viewing alert rules: the user will have access to view the grid of rules that are registered in the Settings > Alert rules menu, but will not be able to create new rules or edit and delete existing ones.

    • Manage alert rules: the user will have access to manage (create, edit or delete) rules in the Settings > Alert rules menu.

    • View alerts: the user will have access to view grids from the Warnings menu, and open alert information, but will not be able to handle, forward, or close alerts.

      • Manage alerts: by selecting this option, the user will be granted the permission to view alerts and all permissions below. As such, the user will have access to manage (handle, forward, or close) alerts from the Warnings menu.

        • Handle alerts: in the Warnings > Open menu, the user can send the alert for handling.

        • Forward alerts: in the Warnings > Open and Warnings > Processing menus, the user can forward the alert by email.

        • Close alerts: from the Warnings > Processing menu, the user can close the alert.


Fixes

Indefinite loading when sorting the grid by columns with dynamic data

How did the problem happen? When sorting the grids from the Warnings menu by some columns, the grid kept loading for an indefinite time because the columns had dynamic data.

When did the problem happen? When the user tried to sort the grid by any of the columns with dynamic data.

Where was the problem? In the menu grids Warnings > Open, Warnings > Processing and Warnings > Closed.

What was done to fix it? Blocked the possibility of sorting by these columns, being possible to sort the grids only by the columns "Criticity", "Classification", "Alert", "Opening date", "Closing date", "Opening time" and "Total time".

Improvements

Keep the state of some grids as changed by the user

What purpose? Make the user experience more fluid when they are searching for data in the NDD Orbix portal grids.

What was done? It will keep the grid state the way the user changed it when they enter the device's properties, whether it is a printer or computer. This is to maintain paging, grouping, and grid results when the user searches.

What will be affected? The grids in the Devices > All, Devices > Printers, Devices > Computers and Devices > Unmanaged menus.

What is the impact on the environment? There isn't one.

Observations? There isn't one.


Fixes

Error 404 when looking up an agent from a deleted module

How did the problem happen? When searching for the installed agent in the Agents > Services menu, it directed to the 404 error page of the NDD Orbix portal. It was identified that the action "Delete" from the Agents > Modules menu could be interpreted differently by the user, causing the error. 

When did the problem happen? Every time the action was executed without the agent was no longer used. 

Where was the problem? When fetching the installed agent from the Agents > Services menu and when selecting an agent and deleting it from the Agents > Modules menu. 

What was done to fix it? The action was temporarily removed while the flow is re-evaluated.


Error when adding a new agent on devices with the same serial number as the motherboard

How did the problem happen? When adding the DCA and Cloud Connector agent on a new device with the same computer motherboard serial number as an existing device, the DCA and Cloud Connector entries were overwritten instead of adding a new agent.

When did the problem happen? When adding a new DCA and Cloud Connector agent in a device with the same computer motherboard serial number as another device already existing in the system.

Where was the problem? In the Agents > Services menu.

What was done to fix it? Validate the computer name field in case of inserting a device with the same motherboard serial number as another one.
