What is the difference between an offline, unmonitored, and unmanaged printer?

The offline printer indicates that the portal has stopped receiving readings from the equipment within the configured period. As no new readings are being received, the data is no longer updated and no new alerts are generated. To reestablish communication between the agent and the portal, refer to the instructions available at Printer with Offline monitoring status.

The unmonitored printer is active in the operation and is displayed in the Monitoring > Printers menu, but will be flagged as “unmonitored” in reports, dashboards, and operational flows. This configuration is useful to ensure correct visibility on printers where no communication or readings are expected, such as backup printers, for example. However, as long as the agent continues to send readings to the portal, the printer data will be updated and alerts will continue to be generated as normal, even if it is marked as unmonitored.

The unmanaged printer is not part of the active operation and is displayed in the Devices > Inventory menu. Even if the agent is installed and configured to monitor it, no data is collected or sent to the portal. In this state, the printer is ignored by the system and does not participate in any monitoring, control, or management functionality.
