Error code 8032

Failure

The log from the NDD - Computer Monitor service recorded error code 8032 (RamInformationException).

Cause

There was a failure collecting the computer's RAM memory information.

Solution

Check that the RAM memory(s) are correctly installed and working, as instructed below:

  1. Turn off the computer and disconnect it from the power supply

  2. Make sure that the RAM modules are correctly seated in the slots (in the case, for computers, or on the bottom, for notebooks)
They must be firmly attached and with the retaining clips (at the ends) properly secured.

If the failure persists, test the RAM memory(s):

  1. Type Windows Memory Diagnostic in the Start menu search and open the tool

  2. Click on the Restart now and check for problems option

The computer will restart and run the test. When it starts, Windows will show the results.
