Security in NDD cloud

We use a cloud that follows the most advanced international security standards and has robust data processing centers. The security protocols applied are based on advanced technologies such as firewalls and logical and physical access controls. This approach provides significant benefits in terms of cost reduction, from infrastructure to the need for trained personnel, offering important competitive advantages.

Physical security

In addition to the security offered by the Microsoft Azure infrastructure, NDD adopts its own measures to reinforce the physical security of stored data:

  • Controlled access to servers.

  • Fire alarm and detection system.

  • Surveillance with security cameras.

Logical security

The logical security of the data collected by NDD Orbix is ensured by state-of-the-art technologies:

  • Two-factor authentication (MFA) for access.

  • Access controls for the logical environment.

  • Vulnerability analysis (SIEM).

  • Firewall with Fortinet technology for advanced protection.

  • Monitoring.

  • Backup servers.

  • Intrusion detection system.

  • State-of-the-art security EDR.

High availability

The NDD Orbix is designed to guarantee high availability of the services provided, with multiple contingencies. Measures include:

  • Database in Failover Cluster.

  • Failover Cluster virtualization, with support for Live Migration and Quick Migration.

  • Redundancy of power supplies and communication links by different means.

  • Highly qualified professionals available 24x7x365, trained in .NET development, MCP support and Furukawa technicians.

  • Power generator connected to independent circuits for each UPS.

  • Redundant internet links with multiple operators.

  • Differentiated data transmission systems (shielded twisted pair and fiber optics).

  • Business continuity plan.

Storage

We only store the information needed to administer and manage your fleet of devices, guaranteeing privacy and total control over data.

Encryption

We use 2048-bit RSA encryption for the keys and 256-bit SHA for the data. Communication between the different modules of the system is carried out with sensitive information encrypted, allowing data and information to be exchanged efficiently and reliably between the components of NDD Orbix.
